Breakfast is an important meal – the most important meal of the day according to some. While eggs and beans for the most part would be gluten free, many places to not offer gluten free breaded options. Well, Madness Coffee do – and it’s quite tasty too. A great place to eat gluten free in Alicante first thing in the morning.

GF observation: The menu is not allergen marked, but there is a section that refers to all the sandwiches being available with gluten free bread.
Celiac safety: This is not a 100% gluten free establishment. Therefore, you need to be careful when it comes to cross contamination. Inform the staff if you have Celiac disease.
Overall comment: A hipster cafe which specializes in coffee. They have an extensive menu and all sandwiches can be made gluten free (in addition to the traditional eggs and other breakfast items). Of course, you may eat here at other times than breakfast, and it is a good gluten free spot in Alicante.
