Gran Canaria is an island with great scenic variety. If you head west of the island capital of Las Palmas, you will reach the little fishing village of Agaete (and port area Puerto de las Nieves). It is situated at the edge of a national park and provides exceptional views that will remind you of Jurassic Park. If you head out exploring a little, you will also come across the splendid natural pools.
Here is some of what awaits you:
1. Spectacular view of the national park
2. Natural pools (note that these photos were taken on a very windy day)
3. City beach (although a bit rocky)
4. Fresh gluten free seafood at the beachside restaurants
